"Ai Weiwei is dead, long live the new king” is an exclusively commissioned talk for the Tel Aviv Museum of Art series of lectures on contemporary art scenes around the world. Zucker chose to introduce the Chinese contemporary art landscape by introducing main themes, prominent emerging artists and unconventional art institutions. Following Barbara Pollack's work - the tactics of sampling, technology, and fabrication used as building blocks for the exploration of artists like- Tianzhuo Chen, Guan Xiao, Lu Pingyuan, Lu Yang, Miao Ying, Lin Ke, Aaajiao, Xu Zhen and Madein Company. The presentation was crafted through a wide perspective of the socio-economic conditions of contemporary China and the unique attributes of the scene and was well received by the crowd paving the way to a future series of talks on creativity in China accommodated by the Museum for 2020-2021
